Pissing on the Planet – Saying vs. Doing

By Olivia Knight, 29/04/2010

We know we shouldn’t leave our engines running when our cars are stationary. We’re told this all the time. It is bad for the health of our people and our planet. It is an ‘idle’ habit we need to change. This brilliant campaign demonstrates with humour and yet with great impact the effect our idleness has. And it does so through action not words.

Great example of the power of demonstration, of explicitly bringing to life the verbal metaphores we use all the time. And like Bella said the other day, the power of making the invisible visible’. What results or implications do we need to make visible? How can we demonstrate impact through actions not words?

Thanks for this Andy at ecosapiens. check out their site. full of good stuff.
