Bike Shelf

I love things that fix problems. Especially problems that have been ignored and overlooked. If you have a bike, especially a good one, you’ll know all about the conundrum of where to lock it up. You live in fear of it being nicked; but keeping it inside is cumbersome and ugly. Enter the Bike Shelf. A stylish shelving unit for books and bikes.
Bicycle makers know about this problem, yet have offered limited solutions (other than dubious locks) to fix it. All attempts to solve the problem start from a place of trying to make a better lock vs. re-framing and re-imagining the problem from an entirely different context (like what would it take to make keeping a bicycle inside ok?).
So perhaps it’s time we tried to reframe our problems to get a new perspective and radically new solution. This might be a way for us to create a little magic.
